kimono jinxed


In February 1657, a small ceremony conducted in the city of Tokyo, to reject bala. In a small ceremony, a priest intends to burn a Kimono, which is considered unlucky. Kimono has been owned by three daughters who all died before they could wear it. This ceremony will not be recorded in history, when no tail. When the kimono is burned, high winds blew and the fire spread participate devouring the temple where the ceremony performed. Not stopping there, the fire destroyed almost three-quarters come part of Tokyo.

Recorded 300 temples were burned, plus 500 major buildings, 9,000 stores, and 61 bridges. Victims who fell in a big fire has reached about 100,000 people. All because of kimono jinxed.
